What we support and what we tested

We publish our test results openly. Anything not marked as passed is still being tested — please run a trial on your own hardware.

Riot Vanguard, VALORANT & League of Legends

In testing
  • Riot Vanguard — VALORANT · League of Legends

Riot Vanguard is a kernel-level anti-cheat that may require Secure Boot, TPM 2.0 and other platform security features. RebootGuard never disables these features and does not modify, hook or interfere with anti-cheat software.

We are actively testing VALORANT and League of Legends on both engines (UWF and VHDX). Until results are published here, treat these titles as untested and validate them during your trial.

Anti-cheat vendors update their software frequently; a result that passes today may change after a game update. We re-test after major updates.

Tested games

Each title is checked for install, update, launch, restart behavior and whether settings persist when intended.

Known limitations

  • Windows Home and 32-bit Windows are not supported.
  • Game updates installed while a device is Protected are discarded at restart — update in maintenance or keep the library on an unprotected drive.
  • If the UWF overlay fills up during a very long session, Windows may become unstable; size the overlay generously and restart between sessions.
  • Discovery beacons do not cross routers: clients on another subnet/VLAN need the Master address configured manually.
  • Some anti-cheat or DRM systems may detect hardware or disk changes; results are listed per title above.
  • The VHDX engine (Windows Pro) needs enough free disk space for the parent and differencing disks.
